Death Note [ デスノート]

Light Yagami is a genius high school student who resents the relentless increase of crime and corruption in the world around him. His life undergoes a drastic change when he discovers a mysterious notebook, known as the "Death Note", lying on the ground. The Death Note's instructions claim that if a human's name is written within it, that person shall die, as well as various other rules. Though Light is initially skeptical of the notebook's authenticity, he realizes that the Death Note is real after experimenting with it on criminals. After meeting with the previous owner of the Death Note, a Shinigami named Ryuk, Light plans to become a god and establish a new world order by passing his keen judgment on those he deems evil and anyone who gets in his way.
Soon, the number of inexplicable deaths of reported criminals catches the attention of International Police Organization and a mysterious detective known only as ''L''. L quickly learns that the serial killer, dubbed by the public as "Kira" (キラ, derived from the typical Japanese pronunciation of the English word "killer"), is located in Japan. He also concludes that Kira can kill people without laying a finger on them and that he is in Japan after using a convicted criminal named Lind L. Tailor, whose capture was kept secret and who was condemned to die at that hour, and pretending Tailor is L so that Kira would kill him. He then reveals this was only being broadcast in the Kanto region of Japan, and that the first Kira killing was of a criminal only broadcast in Japan. Light realizes that L will be his greatest nemesis, and a nuanced game of psychological cat and mouse between the two begins.
L realizes Kira is getting information from inside the task force and sends 12 FBI agents to follow people connected to the Japanese police. Light tricks Raye Penber, his tail, into showing his ID, after which he kills all the FBI agents. Naomi Misora, Raye's fiancee, suspects Kira was one of the people he tailed, but Light finds out and makes her commit suicide using the Death Note.
Noticing Raye Penber's odd behaviour, and the fact that Raye's fiancee is missing, L begins to suspect those Raye Penber was investigating, and places cameras in their homes. Light realises their presence, but continues the killings with help from a miniature TV. L finally decides to remove the cameras, and enrolls at the same university as Light. His suspicions grow of Light, but he asks him to join the taskforce.

Misa Amane, another Death Note owner, finds Light, after sending a video in which she claims to be Kira. She possesses Shinigami eyes which allow her to see a person's name and lifespan, but at the cost of half her remaining lifespan to obtain this information. Ryuk offered Light Shinigami eyes when Raye Penber was following him but Light declined. Obsessed with Kira after the death of her parents' murderer who was being acquitted for lack of evidence, she devotes herself to helping Light, but is captured by L. Light makes a plan involving renouncing ownership of both Death Notes and all of his memories of them, and turns himself in to L for surveillance, as Rem threatens to kill him if Misa is not freed. Together, Light and L investigate eight people from the company "Yotsuba" who are using a Death Note for their own profit. While arresting the third Kira Higuchi, Light recovers all his memories when he touches the Death Note. Using a death note fragment in his watch, he kills Higuichi thus becoming the owner of the Death Note. He remembers and continues his plan of compelling the former owner of Misa's Death Note, theshinigami Rem, into killing L and his assistant Watari, which causes Rem to lose her life, as a Shinigami is not allowed to purposely extend a human's life. Light then gets her Death Note. Meanwhile, Misa again acquires her memories and the Shinigami eyes from Ryuk.
After L's death, Light is given the position of the "new L" by the Japanese Task Force. Four years later, Near and Mello - two children who were raised to be successors to L in an orphanage founded by Watari - appear, with the goal of finding Kira. In the meantime, Kira has gained much public support, and has contacts. Mello, one of L's successors who has joined the Mafia, kidnaps the Director of the NPA, but after Kira kills him, he kidnaps Sayu Yagami, Light's little sister, as a bargaining chip to get the Death Note. The Japanese Task Force plans to go to Los Angeles to rescue Sayu but ends up losing the Notebook. The Task Force later attempts to retrieve it and succeeds in doing so, they also get Mello's real name due to Soichiro making the deal for Shinigami eyes with Ryuk. However, as a result of an explosion that Mello uses to cover his escape and one of his henchmen, Light's father Soichiro Yagami dies.
Near begins to suspect the second L of being Kira thus causing some members of the Japanese task force to also openly suspect him. Realizing the risk of being caught, Light has Misa give up ownership of her Death Note. He then finds his next successor, Teru Mikami, a strong, almost crazed Kira supporter, who trades for the shinigami eyes and kills Kira's last spokesman - for his greed - who helped Near escape from a crowd of Kira supporters. Mikami later recruits a new spokesman for Kira, Kiyomi Takada, a newscaster and one of Light's former college girlfriends. Teru Mikami and Kiyomi Takada continue killing criminals while Light is unable to do so himself, but has revealed he is Kira to Kiyomi. Kiyomi is later kidnapped by Mello and is forced to kill him with a hidden piece of the Death Note. Light kills Kiyomi by making her commit suicide by setting fire to the location and everything she wrote on, to avoid her implicating him after she uses the note to kill Mello. Mikami, unaware of this action, writes her name in his notebook which is hidden in a bank vault, exposing it to the members of the SPK. Near has its pages replaced with a fake version and, in a final confrontation with Light, is able to use it to prove that Light is Kira. Realizing that Light had lost, Ryuk writes down Light's name in his own notebook, killing him with a Heart Attack.

However, the other members have insisted that the three are still part of the group.
Super Junior has released and contributed in 20 different kinds of records with varying degrees of success. Over the years, they have been divided into smaller sub groups, simultaneously targeting different music industries and audiences. Largely due to Super Junior's success as entertainers, other Korean entertainment managements began to train their music groups in other areas of entertainment, such as acting and hosting. In addition to their commercial success, Super Junior has earned seven music awards from the M.net Asian Music Awards, eleven from the Golden Disk Away, and is the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asian Awards after JTL in 2003.

Super Junior are known for doing performances that are heavily centered around their choreography, and are acclaimed for their highly synchronized dances. The group's pre-debut performance was a hip hop dance and they have also joined B-boy battles and performances throughout their career.
Their dance styles are widely termed as street dancing, with a majority of their choreography containing hip hop dance moves such as popping, waving, floating, and liquid dancing. Dances in the form of martial arts are widely used in their dance routines as Han Geng and Sungmin are professionally trained in that area. Shindong was the main choreographer for "U" and for a majority of the group's other dance sequences. Eunhyuk choreographed the dance for "Boom,Boom" (Fourth Album) and also worked with the other members to create the dance choreography for "Don't Don" and "Marry U", both promotional singles for the group's second album. The dance for their hit single "Sorry, Sorry" was choreographed by Nick Bass and Trent Dickens, who has also worked with Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson. Bad Guy [나쁜 남자]

The Plot

For the first five episodes, this drama will present you the background set up of Gun Wook’s life, we see that after the Hong’s kick him out for being the “wrong” Tae Sung, his adoptive parent die in a car accident caused by the rain + a dog that ran into the road. That was bad, but still not enough to be the reason of the whole drama-plot-revenge

And you will see the mastermind Shim Gun Wook with his wall of plan to ruin the Haeshin Group. He put all his efforts, his money, his time, his hatred, and eventually his life to get all information about Haeshin in that wall. And he finally get closer and closer to the family.

Gun Wook wants to emotionally screw with Mo Ne so that it irritates Tae Ra and he wants to emotionally screw Tae Ra by unnerving an otherwise steady, level-headed woman who is married and has a daughter. And then he’ll go in for the kill with Tae-sung by becoming his personal assistant.

I think the motive to revenge is too weak. I mean, ok, all you have were gone and they who made you like this were still live happily and peacefully, but I still don't get it, does he has to do the revenge like that? Tae Sung is not guilty, why Gun Wook has to kill him. If he wants to destroy then destroys Mrs. Shin, but Shim Gun Wook seems to miss this. Strange.

And Moon Jae In gets caught in the middle of everything because she is a worker in the Haeshin group.

The Main Casts :

1. Kim Nam Gil as Shim Gun Wook
He is the main character here. Shim Gun Wook is a well educated, sexy, ambitious, very manipulative, and got a hidden revenge to the large corporation - the Haeshin Group. He does not suddenly hate them, there is always a background about it. And usually, Korean drama used a childhood background as a motive.

Twenty years ago Shim Gun Wook or Choi Tae Sung (His childhood name) had forcibly taken to the Hong (the Haeshin) family, they said he was Hong Tae Sung, President Hong's secret son from another woman. So, his adoptive parent had to surrender him to the Hongs with broken hearts. Little Choi Tae Sung or now Hong Tae Sung becomes a little prince in that family, they seemed really love him and wanted him. But one day, a DNA report came out that apparently, he's not the real son of President Hong. It made President Hong in rage and threw him out from their house in the middle of a heavy rain. They called his adoptive parent to pick him up. Unfortunately, his adoptive parent died in a traffic accident making him an orphan instantly. And this made him "mad" and set up a plan to take over the Haeshin group using his skills and charisma.

Choi Tae Sung had been adopted by an American family and brought to the States. Twenty years later, he comes back to Korea under the name of Shim Gun Wook and starts to get the Haeshin into his trap. First, the Haeshin's little princess, Hong Mo Ne, then goes to Hong Tae Ra, becomes Hong Tae sung's personal assistant, gets President Hong's trust and finally he (by accident) makes Hong Tae Kyun the Haeshin's eldest son, died in a car accident. Sound creepy, right?

One day, he finds out that his adoptive parent were killed under Mrs. Shin's order and not just an accident, so he plans to ensnare her and finally Mrs. Shin goes to the prison. Finish? not yet, Mrs. Shin opens a secret that he is actually the REAL Hong Tae Sung, and she said : "How do you feel after you've destroyed your own family, your father and brother? I won after all." It breaks him, shattered in pieces and decides to kill himself.

Kim Nam Gil acts as good as usual, not as spectacular as his Bi Dam's character but he's so intense and impressive here.

2. Han Ga In as Moon Jae In
A smart and beautiful woman. An art curator at the DiDin Art Gallery within the Haeshin Group company. But she is not the usual Korean drama-woman-main-character like, she is a gold digger. She pursues Hong Tae Sung after she had knowledge that he is the second son of Haeshin. She desperately want to be a rich family daughter in law. But she meets Shim Gun Wook and this makes her confuse between happiness and wealth.

In the end she realizes what's best for her, but it's too late.

3. Kim Jae Wook as Hong Tae Sung
He brought to the Hong family as the "real" Hong Tae Sung. Raised in a wealthy family and had everything he want. He changes woman like he changes for clothes, living in careless way, and irresponsible man.

But actually, what Hong Tae Sung wants is his family's attention, they spoiled him with everything but love. He just want his mommy's love and he seeks the love from Choi Sun Young, the only woman that he loves. Until, he finds out about her tragic death and makes him down once again. Finally he finds the love from Moon Jae In and he has to compete with Shim Gun Wook to win over Moon Jae In's heart.

4. Oh Yeon Soo as Hong Tae Ra

She is the eldest daughter of the Hong family, a perfectionist, a high-class married woman, with famous prosecutor hubby and beautiful daughter in tow. And she meets Shim Gun Wook, who turns her world upside down and makes her decide to leave her husband. Never realizes that this is also Shim Gun Wook's plot of revenge.

5. Jung So Min as Hong Mo Ne

The youngest princess in the family. Spoiled of course, gets everything she wants. She is fascinated by Shim Gun Wook when she met him on her yacht. Yes, her private yacht. She's already enganged at that point with other chaebol's son, but her attraction to Gun Wook makes her ditches her fiancee. In the end, she's the one who shot Gun Wook.

Additional Casts :

1. Jun Gook Hwan as President Hong
Typical Korean daddy and leader of a chaebol group. He loved Choi Tae Sung or Hong Tae Sung so much and that love turned to anger when he thought that he'd been deceived. So, President Hong threw the boy in the middle of heavy rain outside their house and left a scar (seen and unseen) within the boy's heart. Actually, he's deceived by his own wife.

2. Kim Hye Ok as Mrs. Shin or President Hong's wife
She is the real villain here. But she did that because she was angry and jealous. She switched the DNA report of the two Hong Tae Sung, she decided to raise the fake Hong Tae Sung because she could not stand to live with her husband's secret son from other woman. A simple reason to make a child's world turn upside down.

One Ok Rock

One Ok Rock (stylized as ONE OK ROCK) is a Japanese rock band formed in 2005, composed of four members, Taka, Toru, Ryota, and Tomoya. It originally contained a fifth member, Alex, but he has since left the group.

The foundation for One Ok Rock began when Toru Yamashita, then a high school student, wanted to start a band. Toru told his friend Ryota Kohama, who had been a fellow member of hip hop dance group, Heads, to learn the Bass and asked Alex to join. After seeing Taka, a vocalist, perform in a cover band, Toru saw him as the best possible candidate for a vocalist in their band, and insisted that he join. Tomoya, the last member to join, joined One Ok Rock as a drummer in 2007. Tomoya had played with band on all their albums but only became an official member when they debuted.
The band name, One Ok Rock, came from "one o'clock," the time that the band used to practice on weekends. However, noticing that the Japanese language made no distinction between r's and l's, they changed "o'clock" to "o'crock" (or "o'krock") which then was separated to become "ok rock".
After Alex left the band in May 2009, the band released the single "Kanzen Kankaku Dreamer" on February 3, 2010. It was featured 9th in the Weekly Oricon Charts. They released their fourth studio album titled Niche Syndrome on June 9, 2010.

Ayumi Hamasaki [ 浜崎 あゆみ]

Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎 あゆみ Hamasaki Ayumi also 浜崎 歩; born October 2, 1978) is a Japanese singer-songwriter and former actress. Also called Ayu by her fans, Hamasaki has been dubbed the "Empress of Pop'' because of her popularity and widespread influence in Japan. Born and raised in Fukuoka, she moved to Tokyo at fourteen to pursue a career in entertainment. In 1998, under the tutelage of Avex CEO Max Matsuura, she released a string of modestly selling singles that concluded with her 1999 debut album A Song for xx. The album debuted atop the Oricon charts and stayed there for four weeks, establishing her popularity in Japan.
Her constantly changing image and tight control over her artistry has meant that Hamasaki's popularity extends across Asia; music and fashion trends she has started have spread to countries such as China, Singapore, and Taiwan. She has appeared in or lent her songs to many advertisements and television commercials. Though she originally supported the exploitation of her popularity for commercial purposes, she later reconsidered and eventually opposed her status as an Avex "product".
Since her 1998 debut with the single ''Poker Face'' Hamasaki has sold over 50 million records in Japan, ranking her among the best-selling singers in the country. As a female singer, Hamasaki holds several domestic records for her singles, such as the most number-one hits overall by a female artist, the most consecutive number-one hits (also by a female artist), the highest sales, and the most million-sellers. Since 1999, Hamasaki has had at least one single each year top the charts. Hamasaki is the first female singer to have eight studio albums since her debut to top the Oricon and the first artist to have a number-one album for 12 consecutive years since her debut.

Personal Life:

Hamasaki dated singer-actor Tomoya Nagase since her brief acting career, and they publicly announced their relationship in 2001. Six years later, the media circulated rumors that the couple were about to get married; however, on July 13, 2007 Hamasaki announced that they had broken up. Though Hamasaki did not explain the reason for the split, she stated that they had parted amicably and the two remained friends.
In a January 8, 2008 entry on her TeamAyu blog, Hamasaki announced that an inoperable condition, possibly tinnitus or Meniere's disease, had caused complete deafness in her left ear. Taekwondo [태권도]

Taekwondo (태권도; 跆拳道; Korean pronunciation) is a Korean martial art and the national sport of South Korea. In Korean, tae(,) means "to strike or break with foot"; kwon (, ) means "to strike or break with fist"; and do (, ) means "way," "method," or "art." Thus, taekwondo may be loosely translated as "the art of the foot and fist" or "the art of kicking and punching."
As many other arts, it combines combat techniques, self-defense, sport, exercicse, and in some cases meditation and philosophy. In 1989, Taekwondo was claimed as the world's most popular martial art in terms of number of practitioners.
Gyeorugi(pronounced, a type of sparring, has been an Olympic event since 2000.

There are two branches of taekwondo development:
  • "Traditional taekwondo" typically refers to the martial art as it was established in the 1950s and 1960s in the South Korean military; in particular, the names and symbolism of the traditional patterns often refer to elements of Korean history.
  • "Sport taekwondo" has evolved in the decades since then and has a somewhat different focus, especially in terms of its emphasis on speed and competition (as in Olympic sparring). Sport taekwondo is in turn subdivided into two main styles; One derives from kukkiwon, the source of the sparring system sihap gyeorugi which is now an event at the summer Olympic Games and which is governed by the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). The other comes from the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF).

Although there are doctrinal and technical differences between the two main styles and among the various organizations, the art in general emphasizes kicks thrown from a mobile stance, employing the leg's greater reach and power (compared to the arm). Taekwondo training generally includes a system of blocks, kicks, punches, and open-handed strikes and may also include various take-downs or sweeps, throws, and joint locks. Some taekwondo instructors also incorporate the use of pressure points, known as jiapsul, as well as grabbing self-defense techniques borrowed from other martial arts, such as hapkido and Judo
